Back to Nature Excursion Series:

By popular demand, the Back to Nature Event will be
expanded in 2012 to a series of nature tours,
excursions, workshops and lectures spread throughout
the year, rather than a single weekend in May.

This will allow participants to enjoy more in depth tours
and excursions and experience Edisto in all it seasons.

First Installment:
Saturday, February 11, 2012, Enjoy winter birdwatching on Edisto

8:30 AM to 12:00 noon,
“Winter Bird Watching on Edisto”

LOCATION: Field trip will depart from the EIOLT parking lot (Edisto Center, 547 Highway 174), at 8:30 AM and return to the meeting area at 12:00 noon.
Excursion Leaders: Sidney A. Gauthreaux and Carroll Belser
Suggested Donation to EIOLT: $25/person (EIOLT is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of the law)
Registration: Pre-registration is required by contacting EIOLT at 843 869-9004 or at eiolt@bellsouth.net. The number of participants will be limited and children must be accompanied by an adult.
The trip leaders will have telescopes and a limited number of binoculars will be available for participants who do not have binoculars. In the event of bad weather a credit for a future field trip will be issued.
Future excursions will be announced by email and on the EIOLT web site (www.edisto.org).
